FAQ

The questions a careful buyer asks.

Who is HardTally for?

The person who owns, or simply cares most about, GenAI implementation: a Head of AI, CIO, Transformation Director, Automation Lead or Program Lead. It was designed around companies of 150–500 people where several departments are already experimenting. It is not a usage-telemetry tool or a governance suite, and it records measured outcomes per initiative rather than one money figure for the whole program.

Do we have to run discovery first?

No. Discovery is free and the usual starting point, but you can add known candidates directly or import a tracker from CSV. Imported work starts as new initiatives, never as verified history.

Can we start with incomplete ideas or estimates?

Yes. An idea needs only a title and a problem, and an estimated starting number is enough to begin an experiment. Estimates stay labeled as estimates, and missing information only blocks a claim of verification.

Who confirms a result?

The person accountable for the metric: Finance for a cost figure, the department head for a workflow metric, or whoever you choose. They see the figures and their sources and confirm or send them back. No account is needed. The point is ownership: every result in the digest carries the name of the person who stands behind it.

Will departments actually keep this updated?

The record is built to need very little. An idea needs a title and a problem. Confirming a result takes one decision from the person who owns the number, with no account needed. The weekly “needs your attention” list shows what stalled, so nothing is silently abandoned.

Does it connect to our helpdesk, Jira or finance system?

Today: CSV import for an existing tracker, and export of everything at any time.

Who needs to be involved to start?

One person who owns, or simply cares most about, GenAI implementation, and one department willing to start with one workflow.

What happens when a result is bad?

It is recorded like any other. A neutral or worse result can be verified and appears in the digest under its own heading, never netted against a good one. Knowing what to stop is part of the program.

Does HardTally calculate our AI ROI?

No. HardTally records measured outcomes rather than modeled ones. Each result is one metric compared before and after, in its own unit, with no hours-to-money conversions and no totals across results. If Finance measures an outcome such as cost per ticket, it is recorded and confirmed directly as that outcome.

How does pricing work?

Discovery is free, and the 28-day trial starts only when you log your first initiative. After that there is one flat company price with no seats: EUR 490 a month or EUR 4,900 a year, excl. VAT. The EUR 490 Guided Discovery Session fee is credited against the annual plan if you take it within 60 days; the monthly plan does not receive the credit. If you stop, discovery stays usable, records stay readable and exportable, and nothing is deleted because a trial ends.

What happens to our data, and which languages are supported?

HardTally is built EU-first. The processing and storage posture, DPA, subprocessor list, and retention policy are documented before the first paid pilot. The product works in English and Polish.
